Wanna hear a story? Here’s the story of a city.
"Welcome to GAOL.
"The largest prison city on the Exiled Coast, the smoking, burning, steel metropolis of Gaol houses millions of murderers, thieves, cowards and former champions within it’s sealed walls. Built on the bones of an ancient metropolis, Gaol exists outside the sphere of any royal influence, nothing more than a guarded cage in which prisoners toil in frustration and tear one another apart both physically and emotionally. There are no tournament rings in Gaol, for life itself is a contest pitting man against man, each doing their best to survive another day. There is work, and for those who work there are wages , allowing the purchase of goods and services…but it’s a cage, nonetheless, and once inside, there’s no way out.
"No way until now, that is.
"The de-factor mayor of Gaol, a man named Warden, is a skeevy be-spectacled former monk who betrayed his vows of service for a shot at the big time. Now exiled to Gaol, he has shown great initiative in forming a loose affiliation of ‘prison guards’ to bring order to the chaos of the city—his Cut Men, skilled bravos and assassins who vow to serve the Warden, keep his peace and keep scum in line—even if it means hunting them down and bringing them back.”
